Alison Sterling

Meet Alison Sterling, MSW, LCSWA, LCAS, CSI.

Clinical Director 

Alison strongly believes in the potential for growth and well-being in every individual. Through compassionate strength based therapeutic interventions she values the opportunity to collaborate with people and guide them through some of their darkest moments to holistic wellness. She approaches her work as a privilege to participate in the transformation process of others, to witness someone change and to turn their life around. She has dedicated the last thirteen years’ to crisis intervention trauma-informed treatment, providing counseling in an office, within treatment centers and community-based environments. She holds a Master of Social Work Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Chemical Dependency Counseling Certification.She is licensed in North Carolina and New York and is EMDR trained. Alison has over three decades of personal recovery experience. 

 

 

Alison’s expertise includes substance abuse counseling, trauma therapy, domestic violence support, family crisis intervention, individual and group therapy. Outside of her professional life, she has achieved a second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan and has competed internationally. Additionally, she is passionate about and owns several dogs.
