Meth Addiction Treatment Programs in Asheville

Getting proper treatment for meth addiction can save your life or change it for the better. Ritual Recovery helps you build new rituals and routines that promote lasting recovery from substance use disorders. With that in mind, here’s how our addiction treatment programs and housing options can help you or your loved one in Asheville heal from meth addiction.

We have a library, fitness center, and other amenities on-site that are available to clients. Please call Ritual Recovery if you have any questions about our facility or programs.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Ritual Recovery’s partial hospitalization program (PHP) for meth addiction is our highest level of care. Clients in PHP at Ritual Recovery attend daily groups, once-weekly (or more, if requested) individual therapy sessions, once-weekly outings and adventure therapy sessions, and at least one family therapy session within the first month of treatment. Those participating in our family program will meet for family therapy sessions once weekly via Zoom.

We offer both housing PHP and day PHP, so you or your loved one looking for an Asheville meth treatment center can choose whether you prefer to stay at our sober living facilities or live at home during treatment.

Intensive Outpatient Program

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at Ritual Recovery has a significantly lower time commitment than PHP. Clients in IOP at Ritual Recovery participate in treatment a few days per week rather than daily. IOP can be a starting level of care, but many people enter our intensive outpatient program after a higher level of care. Attending our IOP means that you will have support throughout the week and the time you need to return to or continue fulfilling external obligations like work or school.

Sober Living

Our sober living accommodations offer a comfortable and modern living space. While clients have the option to stay in sober living at Ritual Recovery or at home, sober living provides extra accountability and structure. For many people overcoming meth addiction, the support sober living provides is essential.

Co-Occurring Disorders

Dual-Diagnosis Treatment in Asheville

What if you or your loved one looking for an Asheville meth treatment center has one or more co-occurring disorders? Ritual Recovery specializes in dual-diagnosis treatment for people facing both addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns. We offer dual-diagnosis treatment at all care levels (both PHP and IOP).

Dual-diagnosis treatment is considered a superior approach to treatment for people who experience both substance abuse and one or more other mental health concerns. A significant portion of people who use meth will also face a mental health condition, so it is vital that treatment centers are able to address mental health concerns alongside meth addiction.

What We Offer

Our Approach to Treating Meth Addiction and Dual-Diagnosis Disorders

Our Asheville meth treatment center uses a combination of approaches to address substance abuse and other mental health concerns. Signs and Symptoms of Meth Addiction

What if you suspect meth addiction in someone else? Alternatively, what if you are not sure whether you are personally struggling with meth addiction? Being able to detect the possible signs of meth addiction is important. Common signs and symptoms of meth abuse and addiction include but aren’t limited to the following.

  • Unsuccessful efforts to stop or cut down on meth use.
  • Continuing to use meth even though it causes or contributes to the worsening of physical or mental health problems.
  • Continuing to use meth even if it affects other parts of your life (e.g., work, school, or interpersonal relationships) negatively.
  • Increased tolerance, marked by either needing more meth than before to achieve the desired effects or experiencing reduced effects (feeling less of a “high”) when using the same amount of the drug as you did before.
  • Experiencing withdrawals upon discontinuation of the drug or using meth continuously to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
  • Spending a significant deal of time using meth, obtaining meth, or recovering from the effects of meth usage.
  • Giving up or reducing significant social, occupational, or recreational activities due to meth usage.
  • Increased energy, erratic behavior, and/or personality changes.
  • Severe tooth and gum problems (which can include tooth loss).

  • An increased need for secrecy or privacy.
  • Decreased need for sleep.
