Our Team

I am a board certified Family Medicine physician. I completed my medical training at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2013 and completed my residency training in 2016. Since that time, I have worked as a military physician treating service members, veterans and their families. This has included both inpatient and outpatient management of drug and alcohol use disorders. I also have additional training in holistic medicine, with a certification in Medical Acupuncture.

 

As Medical Director here at Ritual Recovery, I oversee the medical management of each client. I collaborate with our amazing clinical team to formulate an individualized treatment plan for each of our patients, and provide oversight to ensure it is being administered at the highest level of excellence. This could include making sure that past and current medical conditions are considered when developing the treatment plan. It could involve prescribing medications to help with their mental and physical wellbeing. Overall, I strive to make sure all of our clients’ medical needs are met, and that a we are meeting our goals of clinical excellence.

 

Like most people, I’ve seen loved ones struggle with addiction. For many years, comprehensive and effective treatment just wasn’t available. Now, being part of the amazing work done here at Ritual Recovery allows me to help people break free from addiction and heal.
