BCBS Drug Rehab Coverage at Ritual Recovery

In 2022, almost 12 North Carolina residents died per day as a result of drug overdose. Addiction research shows that addiction treatment helps people overcome substance abuse. However, many people are not able to access help for financial and related reasons, like difficulty taking extensive time off work or away from home.

Ritual Recovery is here to help. Our trusted drug rehab in North Carolina offers addiction treatment covered by BCBS and various other health insurance plans. Since we are a fully outpatient rehab center, you can attend work or school while in our programs, which is a necessity for some clients. If you do need time off, we can help you coordinate it.

To verify your health insurance coverage, call Ritual Recovery today or fill out the insurance verification form on our website. With your insurance card ready, we can confirm your BCBS drug rehab coverage for care at Ritual Recovery in a few minutes or less.

Our BCBS Drug Rehab Facilities & Services

BCBS insurance plans cover all of the following addiction treatment programs at Ritual Recovery. Before you leave treatment, we’ll help you make a custom aftercare plan, which may include services like ongoing therapy that are also covered by your insurance plan. After treatment, you’ll also have access to our alumni program, which provides continued support and connection for individuals who have completed our program.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

While all of our rehab programs are outpatient, they do not all have the same time commitment. PHP is the highest level of care at Ritual Recovery, and it is structured a lot like an inpatient program in the sense that you’ll attend about 25 hours per week of group therapy, once-weekly individual therapy, and engage in other activities, like weekly outings and cooking classes, during your program. PHP operates Monday-Friday, five days per week.

However, PHP provides more freedom than inpatient rehab does. You can choose to stay at your own home or at our sober living house for PHP clients while in PHP at Ritual Recovery. Housing at Ritual Recovery is highly supportive to clients who need it, with a maximum capacity of 25 people.

All PHP clients get at least one family therapy session. More can be requested. Once-weekly adventure therapy is another part of the program. Meals are provided at the house; they are also provided during the treatment day for clients in PHP who don’t live at our sober living home.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our intensive outpatient program in Asheville uses a combination of group therapy, individual therapy, and other services, much like PHP. However, IOP comes with a lower time commitment and more flexibility for clients who have and are able to engage in other obligations, like work or school, throughout the week.

IOP is a great option for clients ready to step down from a higher level of care like PHP or who need less intensive care at the time they enter treatment. You’ll get an intake assessment before your start date at Ritual Recovery, which will help you decide on a starting level of care.
