Outpatient Drug Rehab in Raleigh: Programs and Treatment Offerings

Ritual Recovery’s treatment programs are 100% outpatient. However, we offer multiple levels of care, which vary in intensity and require distinct time commitments. No matter what level of care you’re in, you will get an individualized treatment program, which may influence your specific daily treatment schedule. With that in mind, here are the treatment offerings at Ritual Recovery and a little bit about what to expect from each.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Partial hospitalization is the most intensive form of outpatient treatment. In the partial hospitalization program (PHP) at Ritual Recovery, clients get a highly structured treatment schedule during the day but are able to return home or to supportive housing at night. PHP clients at Ritual Recovery engage in four daily groups, once-weekly individual therapy sessions, and other treatments, such as family therapy, recreation, and medication management.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is the next step below PHP in intensity. Intensive outpatient treatment schedules are similar to PHP at Ritual Recovery in the sense that they contain groups, individual therapy, and other treatment activities. However, the overall time commitment required for IOP is lower than that of PHP, giving you additional time and flexibility for external commitments.

Outpatient Program

Outpatient is the lowest level of care at Ritual Recovery. Your outpatient treatment schedule and time commitment may differ based on your personal needs, but your total treatment hours per week will be significantly less than that of a PHP or IOP client. Our outpatient program is most suitable for those with mild symptoms and provides optimal flexibility for external commitments like work or school.

Supportive Housing

Supportive housing is not a level of care. Instead, it is a sober living space for clients in our programs who need a place to live close to our treatment center. This can be particularly helpful for clients coming from Raleigh and surrounding areas. On top of an easier commute to treatment, there are many benefits to living in supportive housing at Ritual Recovery.
