Recovery is not a single step—it’s a journey. At Ritual Recovery, we believe in guiding individuals through each stage with the structure of our continuum of care, compassion, and resources needed to build lasting change. Our continuum of care is designed to meet clients where they are while gradually empowering them to step back into life with confidence and stability.
Here’s a closer look at how our program works:
30-Day Partial Hospitalization Program with Supportive Housing
Recovery begins with stability and safety. For the first 30 days, clients participate in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) while living in our supportive housing environment.
During this phase, the focus is on:
- Structured Therapy – Daily sessions help individuals process emotions, develop coping strategies, and work through underlying challenges.
- Group Support – Clients connect with peers in recovery, fostering a sense of community and accountability.
- Personalized Treatment Plans – Every client receives care tailored to their unique needs, ensuring no one walks the same path alone.
This initial stage provides a strong foundation, allowing clients to focus solely on their recovery without outside distractions.
Transitional PHP Out of Housing
Once clients complete their first month, they enter a transitional PHP phase. For 15 days, they continue attending structured therapy and support sessions while living outside of our housing facility.
This step is essential because it helps clients:
- Reintegrate into Daily Life – Begin practicing recovery skills in real-world environments.
- Maintain Therapeutic Support – Continue accessing professional guidance while adjusting to more independence.
- Bridge the Gap – Smoothly transition between the safety of supportive housing and the responsibilities of living on their own.
It’s a gradual shift that balances independence with accountability.
3 Month Intensive Outpatient Program
The next stage in our continuum of care is the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), lasting three months. Here, clients are further supported as they embrace independence while staying deeply connected to recovery tools and community.
Key aspects of IOP include:
- Ongoing Recovery Skills Training – Strengthening coping strategies and life skills for long-term wellness.
- Relapse Prevention – Equipping clients with practical tools to navigate triggers and challenges.
- Community Support – Building a strong recovery network to ensure clients don’t face the journey alone.
This stage allows participants to rebuild their lives—at work, in school, and with family—while still prioritizing recovery.
Why a Continuum of Care Matters
Recovery doesn’t happen overnight. The gradual, step-down structure of Ritual Recovery’s program ensures clients don’t just achieve sobriety but also develop the skills and confidence needed to maintain it. By providing consistent support through every phase, we help individuals move from stabilization to independence in a way that feels safe, empowering, and sustainable.
